Cooking Up a Storm at The
First Concept Kitchen Live Events

Concept Cubicle Systems recently hosted a series of sushi making masterclasses at Material Source Studio.

Our search for new ways to collaborate and support Architects and Designers is integral to what we do at Concept Cubicle Systems. And as one of the founding partners at Material Source Studio, we decided to create Concept Kitchen Live: a series of fun and insightful culinary themed events for the Northwest A+D community to enjoy at the space.

The aim was to make each session highly interactive and for guests to be involved in the sushi making process as much as possible. With our Specification Manager, Jackson Sutcliffe, hosting the event, it was a great opportunity for our guests from many design practices to enjoy drinks from our Japanese themed menu, view our Washroom Workshop stand, and to pick up some new skills within a relaxed atmosphere.

After watching a live demonstration from the chef, the guests used high quality, sashimi grade fish and ingredients to create several types of rolls that they could eat and take home.

As the evening drew to a close, everyone received one of our complimentary tote bags, each printed with different iconic Manchester phrases.

“Hosting the sushi masterclasses was a great chance to chat to some great people from the A+D community and to get to know more about what they do, I even had a go at making some sushi rolls myself!” says Jackson. “The events were a resounding success and we’re already looking forward to the next series of Concept Kitchen Live Events.”

If you missed out on any of our sushi making events don’t worry, preparations for our next series of Concept Kitchen Live events are underway. Announcements of our next theme is coming soon. Be the first to be notified by getting in touch with us.
