86 Deansgate, now known as The Apiary, is a newly refurbished workspace development overlooking Parsonage Gardens in Manchester city centre. Envisioned to offer a modern and professional environment for businesses, the building combines contemporary aesthetics with first class amenities such as an onsite gym and ample bike storage facilities.
Concept was brought onto the project by Flexible Business Interiors to supply and install a cubicle system across one floor of the building. The chosen solution needed to align with the workspace’s premium look and feel while offering durability and privacy for its users.
To meet the project’s requirements, we supplied and installed our Identity cubicle system. Known for its sleek, flush-fronted design and floor-to-ceiling privacy, Identity was the ideal choice for a professional setting where maintaining a refined appearance from the office floor to the washroom was essential.
Made from High Pressure Laminate (HPL), these cubicles are as robust as they are easy on they eye, making them a future proof solution that can serve working professionals for years to come. Additionally, the Identity system is value-engineered from top to bottom thanks to unique design features such as the closing strip on the reverse of the door which replaces the traditional rebate found in standard flush cubicles. This means the coveted flush look is accessible to more and more projects including this exciting city centre workspace.
For the colour scheme, the cubicle doors were finished in Sage Green (U638) contrasted perfectly with the darker Fir Green (U699) that was used for the partitions, both of which were supplied by Egger. Together these two colours fit in effortlessly alongside the wider washroom scheme which features earthy, sage walls paired with dark green/turquoise tiles. The final result is a smart and welcoming washroom with a naturalistic tone.
Our team completed the installation efficiently over two days, minimising disruption while delivering a polished and functional cubicle system. By incorporating our Identity cubicles, The Apiary now benefits from a stylish, high-quality washroom solution that aligns with its reputation as a premier workspace in Manchester.
