Getting Into the Festive Spirit
with Concept Crafts

For its second event series, Concept Cubicle Systems hosted Concept Crafts – four interactive wreath-making workshops at Material Source Studio.

As experts in detailed installations and washroom products, we collaborate with architects and designers to help them find the right materials and products for their washroom project. And as one of the founding partners of Material Source Studio, what better way to build-up to the festive season by running a series of wreath making workshops for the A+D community.

The wreath-making workshops were hosted by our Specification Manager, Jackson Sutcliffe, and ran by a fantastic team of floral experts. We held four sessions for over 127 people across an incredible 27 different practices – every Thursday evening from the 10th of November to 1st of December.

At Concept Cubicle Systems, we live and breathe sustainability. So to align with our ethos, we made sure all the materials and fresh foliage used by our expert wreath makers and guests each evening came entirely from natural, sustainable sources.

As well as creating their own beautiful seasonal wreaths, one lucky winner who tagged Concept Cubicle Systems in their picture of their wreath also went home with a £500 Harrods Christmas Hamper. The perfect gift to enjoy over the holidays.

To spice up the festivities, we turned to a local catering company in Ardwick, Patel’s Pies, who were recently voted second best in the British Pie Awards. Our guests loved their bespoke festive menu with an Indian twist, including a turkey vindaloo with cranberry chilli chutney, and Patel Pies’ signature gunpowder gravy.

And with mulled wine and festive drinks on offer throughout each evening, our attendees truly got a taste of Christmas.

“The events were so much fun”, said Jackson, “Christmas is my favourite holiday, so it was a great occasion to get to know people, and see some familiar faces from our last event get into the Christmas spirit. And it was amazing to see some of the creativity that went into their Christmas wreaths.

“Congratulations to Sarah from Koncept Interior on winning the Christmas hamper too. I’m very jealous! And I can’t wait to see what’s in store for our next event series.”

Our next Concept Craft series, ‘Booze & Burn’, will further demonstrate our commitment to sustainability, with a candle-making event using repurposed bottles from our events.

Can’t wait for our next event series either? Get in touch with Jackson here for more information – we’d love for you to join us.
